How to Support Us

Open Home Foundation International needs people who love children and young people. We need people who believe that it is wrong that millions of children are neglected, exploited and abused. We need people who believe it is a priority that we work together to see every child in our world is safe and loved within a family.

Open Home Foundation International needs generous people who want to be part of our vision empowering communities so that they can take good care of their needy children.

We work with communities to support children and families. Our financial support goes towards ensuring that children are part of a family, go to school and receive good health care.

Communities are empowered through being given some initial funding and training that will enable them to develop their own financial and personal resources. These resources in turn will enable the community to take proper care of all their children.

Examples of financial empowerment include purchase of land to grow crops and the provision of sewing machines to develop an expertise and income from sewing.

There are some children who are supported directly through child sponsorship. However the aim, as far as possible, is to resource communities so that in the long term they are able to look after all their needy children.

In addition, Open Home Foundation International is dependent upon donations for its administration costs that include office expenses, publicity, international travel and the like. We welcome financial support of any nature, whether it be a one off payment, or regular payment by cheque or automatic payment.
